WHO ARE WE ?

Llongueras Clotet Arquitectes is an architecture studio founded in 1985 and specializing in the field of Health, with the need to respond to hospital interventions, with the aim of humanizing healthcare architecture without forgetting the sustainability of buildings.

​

 

The Humanization of hospitals consists of achieving warm and comfortable spaces, with spatial quality, through innovative shapes, colors and materials, while using new technologies.

The Sustainability of hospitals consists of including from the beginning of the design passive ideas that reduce the environmental impact.

They have a large number of large-scale hospital interventions, hospitals and residential care centers. The transformation of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, ​​for which they have received the 2020 FAD MEDAL and the 2022 MIES AWARD selection.

Extensive experience in working for the public administration, not only in the field of HEALTH, but also in teaching, housing for official protection and in public spaces.

They have collaborated with architects such as Mario Corea, Ramon Sanàbria or Carles Ferrater among others.

They are currently collaborating continuously with Sulkin Marchissio Arquitectes.

In the field of Sustainability, they have been speakers at the Architecture Triennial in Melbourne, Australia, selected by CSCAE 2008.

Within the public administration, regular customers are Catsalut, Infrastructure, Social Welfare of the Generalitat, Barcelona City Council, Incasol, Consorci Marcal del Garraf...

Selected to participate in the 2024 conference organized by the CSCAE on humanized architecture, as well as speakers at the first Conference on Universal Accessibility in Andorra.

They are part of the ETSAB PFC and Master's Qualifying tribunals in the Terrades, Ravetllat and Solaguren chairs.

They participate in numerous architectural juries convened by the administration: Infrastructure, BIMSA, various councils...

He was an architect for the Architecture Service of the General Directorate of Health Care of the Generalitat de Catalunya 1982/1987. Specialized in healthcare architecture.

Currently, teacher of the Master's degree directed by Architect Mario Corea LABORATORY OF HOSPITAL ARCHITECTURE SANITARIA together with Martí Ballart (Head of physical resources CATSALUT) and Lídia Planas (Ramón Sanàbria associate architects).

He has participated in several health architecture conferences as a guest together with Rosa Clotet as a speaker at several sustainability conferences, such as Melbourne 2008, Australia selected by the Consejo Superior de Arquitectos CSCAE.

President of the PFC board of the La Salle School of Architecture, Barcelona.

She was an architect in the Urban Projects Service at Barcelona City Council, from 1980 to 1987. In the teaching field, she was a professor of Interior Design Projects at Escola Superior Eina (UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) for 15 years .

Participates annually in the accessibility course of the Sert School, School of Architecture COAC.

She has been part of the PFC Tribunal (final project of the interior design career) of the EINA school as well as a teacher and member of the PFG Final Degree Projects re-title tribunal of Eina since 2012. As a teacher of Eina has obtained the Premis Habitàcola (ADIFAD) 2013 and 2017.

Partner architect since 2009. Specialized in the health field and currently, specifically in health emergency buildings with BIM and LEAN methodology.

Various presentations in Vía sanitaria (2021, 2018), Face to Face 2024 among others.
